NEW TRENDS 2013: FLEURCO’S NEW SHOWER BASES

With the launch of these new bases, Fleurco offers more options for your bathroom. The bench will appeal to people looking for a seat, a stool or a footrest while showering. Parents will find washing their kids made easy with the bench. And the storage beneath the seat is perfect to keep shampoos and soaps at hand.

The design of this shower tray is human and purposeful. Every detail was deeply studied to offer the user a comfortable seating and a pleasant showering experience. Fleurco’s designers have also strived on a human-centered approach to help aging baby boomers as well.

The ALESSA  ABS and the URBANA solid polymer composite bases (36" x 60")  will be matched with doors from the TITAN, PLATINUM and BANYO series.

Both bases are IAPMO-approved. The ALESSA base with a single threshold comes with a selection of four different decorative drain covers with a chrome finish and also includes an integrated water retention tiling flange. Its sturdy construction with fibreglass reinforcement eliminates flexing of the floor pan and makes it the perfect choice for any bathroom. The shell made of durable cross-linked cast acrylic is extremely scratch and stain-resistant, yet renewable thanks to the integral colour.  The non-porous surface makes cleaning and sanitizing faster and more effective.

At the KBIS 2012 in Chicago, Fleurco won with the ALESSA base the Best of Bath – Silver Award. The ALESSA and URBANA bases will soon be available in numerous North American quality bathroom outlets.
